Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, pioneered the “skip the line” pass with their original FastPass system. This original system has morphed over the years into today’s Genie+ and Lightning Lane. Many people enjoy spending the extra money to skip the normal lines and get more out of their day at Disney, but at what cost to the general experience for all guests in the park?
