Three bridges connect Niagara Falls with its American counterpart. They all offer fine views into the canyon that divides the countries.

1. Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls are one of the most popular, beautiful, and iconic waterfalls in all of North America. They are also easily accessible. It is possible to walk up to the falls and be on the edge, separated only with a railing.

A boat trip can take you to the base of the falls or you can go behind them to see the water pouring down from the top.

The falls are made up of three sections: The concave is by far the most dramatic.
Horseshoe Falls It stretches 640m from the Canadian shore up to the American shore.
The American Falls It measures approximately 330m across and is located on the New York side. But the best views can be found from the Canadian side. A third small section is known as Bridal Veil Falls These two are located between them.

The walkway that runs along the edge the gorge from the Canadian side of the falls to the Canadian side offers spectacular views. Even at night, the falls can be lit up with different colors.

2. Journey Behind the Falls
Journey Behind the Falls gives you a close-up view from the base Horseshoe Falls. An elevator drops you 45m to the Table Rock welcome Centre. It leads to tunnels that lead down to viewing portals at the bottom of the falls, and an observation deck at the lower end.

You can see Horseshoe Falls from this vantage point and feel the misty rush on your face. This view is a different perspective than the one you get from the top.

3. Skylon Tower
The Skylon Tower at a height greater than 235m above Niagara Falls offers spectacular views from a bird’s-eye view of the Falls, Niagara Escarpment, as well as the city.

The tower also features an indoor/outdoor observation platform and two restaurants. The Revolving Dining Room serves upscale cuisine, while Summit Suite Buffet is more family-oriented.

If you are dining in the tower, there is no charge for access to the observation floors.

4. Hornblower Niagara Cruises
Hornblower Cruises offers close-up tours of the base of all three waterfalls in 700-passenger catamaran boats. You can take a cruise all day or into the evening when the falls are illuminated.

It is a rainy experience. Rain jackets will be provided. This boat tour is the only one that allows visitors to the base of the falls since the Maid of the Mist ceased operating from Canada.
